ESA ACVE 2016 Workshop

Category: Collaborated Works

From 18-20 October, the European Space Agency (ESA) was holding the fifth workshop on Atmospheric Composition Validation and Evolution (ACVE) in Rome, Italy. Me and two of my colleagues from DLR were attending the workshop, with presentations given by my two colleagues.

The workshop shall provide the opportunity for scientists and Calibration/Validation experts to present their latest results of their ongoing research and application developments including evolution aspects of the validation methods for future satellite missions. In this workshop particular focus was put on evolution aspects of the new and upcoming Sentinel 3/ Sentinel-5 Precursor products for atmospheric applications.

The presentation I was part of was titled "SCIAMACHY: Spectral Calibration in the SWIR Channels" and presented the new developments which are going to be implemented in the new SCIAMACHY level-1b version 9 dataset. Below you can find the PDF including the abstracts for all presentations, including ours from DLR.
