DLR – DAAD Research Fellowship

Category: Specials

In 2016 I was lucky to be awarded with a DLR – DAAD Research Fellowships. It is a programme implemented by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

DLR-DAAD Fellowships are defined and awarded on an individual basis. The fellowships offer young scientists and researchers the opportunity to conduct special research at the institutes of the DLR in Germany. In my case the fellowship was offered by the Remote Sensing Technology Institute (IMF) at the DLR campus in Oberpfaffenhofen close to Munich. The research topic is Trace gas concentration retrieval from near infrared nadir sounding spaceborne spectrometers. The nominal funding duration of the fellowship is 36 months.
