Impact of Spectroscopy on CO from SCIAMACHY

In this article that was published on March, 27 2020 in Remote Sensing we describe our findings on the impact of different molecular spectroscopic datasets and corresponding line profiles on the quality of the CO retrieval from SCIAMACHY measurements. 

In general, it was found that using updated spectroscopic information improve the spectral quality of the retrieval and increase the fitted CO columns, thereby reducing the bias to NDACC and TCCON ground-based networks.
